Jamborall Communications Support at the Golden Spike Arena, Ogden Friday May 18th, 2007What is needed: There will be a need on Friday for 18-25 people for communications support from 3 pm to 9 pm. They will use as many as we can send and fill in from other areas where needed.
Where to checkin: There will be a Mobile Command post at one of the Terraces. Check in there upon arrival.
Radio Frequencies: 146.90 repeater, pl tone of 123.0 and simplex 145.67. Please set your radio to access the repeater before the event.
The repeater will be monitored. Use this if you need directions to the command post as you are nearing the fairgrounds.
When to be there: Several people will be needed at 3 pm. The rest as soon as you can arrive. Deloss, Brad, Sandra, Boyd, Doris and Mary have currently offered to be there early. Troop checkins begin at 4 pm with most between 5 and 6 pm.
What to bring:
HT with enough battery for up to 6 hours.
Notepad, pencil.
Water, other fluids, food
Hat, chair, sunscreen.
Flashlight
It may be hot if there is blacktop where you are. You will need to be self-sufficient for the time you are volunteering.
